My first real souffle experience was at Cafe Jacqueline. Jacqueline makes many varieties of savory souffles but my favorite by a mile is the strawberry souffle. Light, airy and perfectly sweet from the fresh strawberries. Its like eating warm ice cream.
If you like hollandaise sauce, you will love Zazie's poached eggs. The sauce is creamy, mildy tart from the lemon juice and just plain yummy. Add some salty proscuitto and marinated tomatoes, you have the best eggs benedict in the city.
