Dojo literally means “place of the way†in Japanese but is usually referred to as a place of training. Well, the people at Ramen Dojo seem like they’ve been training a lot and have mastered spicy ramen cooking. Which makes sense since Dojo is in the exact same place as the old Santa Ramen and is actually owned by the same people. I love spicy food so I was excited to try a ramen house that only serves spicy ramen. I ordered the spicy garlic pork broth - regular spicy. all bowls of ramen comes with fried garlic, fried ginger, quail egg and 2 slices of pork belly. You order extra pork belly, kim chee, corn and lots of other toppings. Dang, my bowl of ramen was a karate chop to your face of flavor and spiciness. Can’t wait to go back to Ramen Dojo and get schooled.
