I had my doubts when I saw this place. How can there be good pho in the middle of a Mexican neighborhood? Boy was I wrong. The pho was piping hot when it came out. The sprouts were very clean and washed. The meat pieces were great. And the broth was not too oily as many pho places make it. It was light and still flavorful. The best I've had in the Peninsula.

This Pho dish is one of the less greasy broths around. If you like your broth greasy, this dish probably won't be for you. If you like the broth lighter, you gotta try this if you are in the area. The basil and bean sprouts are generally cleaner and fresher than most places.
