My picture does not give this pho justice. Turtle Tower serves Northern Vietnamese pho, which consists of thicker noodles in a ginger based broth. Cloves, cinnamon, star anise are still prevalent but ginger and cilantro are dominant in the broth. The typical fixings of bean sprouts, basil leaves and lime are not offered but that means you get to really taste the yummy broth.

Amy's Ice Cream is a local favorite in Austin. The ice cream is made daily and they have a rotating menu of creative flavors. You can also add toppings/mix-ins to any flavor. I love blueberry ice cream so I was excited to taste their blueberry muffin. Moist muffin pieces added to really creamy sweet vanilla/blueberry ice cream is pure genius. Amy, you are my kind of gal.

A neighborhood favorite with only 10 counter seats. Watch the quiet korean couple dance around each other while they make delicious breakfast items.
