Perfect way to start your meal with an array of dips and crispy falafel. All the dips are great.
I’m not a fan of cauliflower in general but I love this dish. The cauliflower is cooked until tender and the sauce just makes it sooo good.
My favorite pizza in San Leandro. The sourdough crust is what makes this pizza. A little extra toasted in the oven makes it even better.
Such a simple appetizer but if you love mushrooms you'll love this. Dipped in some ranch it just has all the mushroomy goodness you want.
This is the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. When you put all the components together, it's just heaven in your mouth. Be sure not to forget to eat it with the thai chili slices. Trust me it makes a difference.
Korean bbq in a cheesesteak. Delicious bulgoki, melted cheese, and a nicely toasted ciabatta almost like a panini without the lines. Street food doesn't get much better than the K-Town Philly. You can only get it at their food cart at special events. Follow them on twitter [http://twitter.com/ktownphilly] or get them to cater your events ktownphilly@gmail.com.
Normally I only order quesadillas when I'm not hungry enough for a burrito, but the quesadilla from La Vics is the only exception. The filling is great but I love the crispy torilla. Drizzle some special La Victoria orange sauce on that bad boy and you got yourself the best quesadilla in town.
This Super burrito is my favorite in Davis for sure. The carne asada in the burrito is so flavorful and delicious. This burrito is pretty big and very filling, hard for me to finish in one sitting. But if you are a savage you can get the burrito in Super Giant size. They also provide a bar of 5 sauces and homemade torilla chips.
Pad Kee Mao is my favorite Thai dish. Pad Kee Mao to me is the Thai form of chow fun but with sweet basil and a spicy kick. I love basil so this dish is right up my alley. I always get the beef and ask for it extra spicy. If you do get it extra spicy, be prepared for some major heat. You'll definitely be sweating when you eat it. Don't go to any King of Thai for this dish though. My preferences are the Sloat and Taraval locations.
Hands down my favorite dessert crepe in the city. They make the crepe thin and crispy and fold it into a genius cone filled with fresh strawberries, great french vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and sweet chocolate syrup. A must visit if you are in Japantown. The convenient cone allows you to walk around the Japantown Center while you are enjoy your delicious crepe.
